One suspect was shot and multiple police officers were injured in an incident Saturday morning at 212 Hemenway St., according to Boston police.<\/p>\n
Dozens of officers from the Boston Police Department, or BPD, and the Northeastern University Police Department, or NUPD, responded to the incident at about 11:40 a.m. The incident marks the third alleged assault on or near Northeastern\u2019s Boston campus in the past eight days.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a 12:28 p.m. email to The Huntington News, Officer Michael Torigian of the Boston Police Department\u2019s Office of Media Relations said the incident involved a code 303<\/a>, denoting a use of deadly force or use of a firearm deemed necessary for de-escalation.<\/p>\n Torigian told The News the injured suspect and officers were transported to separate hospitals. As of publication, the suspect and officers\u2019 conditions are unknown.\u00a0<\/p>\n At 11:57 a.m., Northeastern sent an urgent NU alert to the Boston campus community warning of \u201cpolice activity\u201d in the area of 212 Hemenway St.. The alert stated there is \u201cno active threat to campus\u201d and instructed students to avoid the scene.<\/p>\n On March 27, a student was stabbed outside of Marino Recreation Center<\/a>.
