\n\tRed bathing suits. Slow-motion running. Saving lives. All are returning for Baywatch. <\/p>\n
\n\tA reboot of the original lifeguard drama<\/a>, which ran for 11 seasons starting in 1989 and an ensemble including David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jason Momoa, is headed to Fox. The 12-episode series is slated to premiere in the 2026-27 season<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tWith production underway in Venice Beach<\/a>\u00a0and on the Fox studio lot in Century City, The Hollywood Reporter is rounding up the names audiences can expect to see in this new generation of Baywatch. Matt Nix (Burn Notice, True Lies) serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside\u00a0McG (The O.C., Charlie\u2019s Angels),\u00a0Michael Berk,\u00a0Greg Bonann,\u00a0Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz.\u00a0McG will also direct the first episode. Read on to find out who is appearing.<\/p>\n \tStephen Amell<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tStephen Amell was the first official cast member announced<\/a> to join Baywatch. He will play the lead role of Hobie Buchannon, son of Mitch Buchannon (Hasselhoff), who is a Baywatch Captain.<\/p>\n \n\tAmell previously appeared in Suits LA, Arrow, Heels, The Flash, The Borderline, Code 8 and Legends of Tomorrow.<\/p>\n \n\tHe is represented by UTA, Leverage Management and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.<\/p>\n \tShay Mitchell<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tShay Mitchell joined the cast as a series regular<\/a>. She plays Trina, a former lawyer who left a top-tier firm to become a full-time lifeguard.<\/p>\n \n\tThe actress and entrepreneur starred as Emily Fields on all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars<\/a>. Mitchell has also appeared in Netflix\u2019s You and Hulu\u2019s Dollface, as well as in film credits for Mother\u2019s Day, Dreamland and Something from Tiffany\u2019s. She founded and serves as the chief creative officer of the travel and lifestyle brand B\u00e9is.<\/p>\n \n\tMitchell is represented by Linden Entertainment, WME and Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks.<\/p>\n \tJessica Belkin<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tJessica Belkin portrays Charlie Vale<\/a>, the biological daughter of Amell\u2019s Hobie Buchannon, in a series regular role. Charlie leaves her complicated home life in Texas and shows up on her father\u2019s doorstep with the hope of becoming a Baywatch lifeguard.<\/p>\n \n\tBelkin\u2019s credits include The Hunting Wives, Bad Day and Last Straw. The actress will also appear in the upcoming Legally Blonde\u00a0prequel series<\/a> Elle.<\/p>\n \n\tShe is represented by Paradigm, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Schuller Talent Mgmt and Stewart Brookman.<\/p>\n \tLivvy Dunne<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tOlivia \u201cLivvy\u201d Dunne is making her professional acting debut in Baywatch. Dunne will be a recurring star, playing Grace, an enthusiastic junior lifeguard. <\/p>\n \n\tA former LSU gymnast, she gained a large social media following by documenting her life in sports and beyond. She made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut in 2023 and returned as a cover star in 2025. <\/p>\n \n\tDunne is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and The Team.<\/p>\n \tNoah Beck<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tNoah Beck is a series regular playing Luke, a rookie lifeguard, who is the youngest in a family of firefighters who prefers the beach over the firehouse. He looks up to Amell\u2019s Hobie as a mentor.<\/p>\n \n\tBeck began his career as a social media influencer<\/a> before transitioning into acting. He is known for his role in Tubi\u2019s YA romance franchise Sidelined. James Van Der Beek played Beck\u2019s father in Sidelined 2, which was his final onscreen film role<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n\tHe is repped by UTA, Underscore Talent, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.<\/p>\n \tDavid Chokachi<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tDavid Chokachi will reprise his role of Cody Madison. He played the original series\u2019 character from seasons six through nine. Cody is a lifeguard who also runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill. Madison was the second cast member announced<\/a> to join the reboot.<\/p>\n \n\tHe\u2019s also appeared in Witchblade\u00a0(2001-2002),\u00a0Soul Surfer\u00a0(2011) and Emerald Run (2020). <\/p>\n \n\tChokachi is represented by LINK Entertainment and Singular Talent.<\/p>\n \tBrooks Nader<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tBrooks Nader plays Selene, a Zuma Beach lifeguard<\/a> who has tension with Amell\u2019s Hobie. As described by Fox, the \u201csharp-tongued\u201d captain is \u201cnever on good terms, their relationship only goes downhill after Hobie brings his daughter Charlie onto his team\u2026 and it becomes clear that their rivalry goes much deeper than lifeguarding.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNader is a reality star known for appearing on Love Thy Nader and Dancing With the Stars. She is also a swimsuit model who wore\u00a0the classic Baywatch one-piece<\/a>\u00a0on the cover of the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. <\/p>\n \n\tNader is represented by WME, Dixon Talent, Inc. and Leigh Fidler.<\/p>\n \tLuke Eisner<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tLuke Eisner plays Koya, a recurring character who\u2019s a rookie and best friends with Beck\u2019s Luke. <\/p>\n \n\tThe actor is best known for starring as the romantic lead in Netflix\u2019s original film Tall Girl and its 2022 sequel. He is also a model who has worked with Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. <\/p>\n \n\tEisner is repped by Buchwald and Thruline Entertainment.<\/p>\n \tHassie Harrison<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tHassie Harrison plays series regular Nat, a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete who has high standards when it comes to lifeguarding. She is Hobie\u2019s\u00a0closest friend and loyal right hand. <\/p>\n \n\tShe appeared in Taylor Sheridan\u2019s Yellowstone, as well as in Hart of Dixie, The Iron Orchard, Tacoma FD, and Dangerous Animals.<\/p>\n \n\tHarrison is repped by Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.<\/p>\n \tNadia Gray<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tNadia Gray is a recurring guest star who plays Lisa, an EMT and partner to the team of lifeguards on Venice Beach. <\/p>\n \n\tGray\u2019s previous credits include Bright, All Rise, Sandy Wexler and Days of Our Lives. <\/p>\n \n\tShe is represented by Adrian Hamerski at Brave Artists Management and lawyer Adam Vitabile at Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof and Fishman.<\/p>\n \tCharlie McElveen<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tCharlie McElveen will play Ethan, a\u00a0former colleague of Mitchell\u2019s Trina. He is a successful lawyer who questions her recent career changes. <\/p>\n \n\tMcElveen has appeared in The Creator, Clipped, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and High Potential. <\/p>\n \n\tHe is represented by Framework Entertainment and CESD Talent Agency.<\/p>\n \tAshley Moore<\/p>\n \t\t\t \n\tAshley Moore plays rookie lifeguard Jasmine, who has a lot of skills but holds the reputation of being the mean girl of the beach.<\/p>\n \n\tThe actress is best known for her role in the Amazon TV series I Know What You Did Last Summer<\/a> (2021). She\u2019s also recognized for Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016), Tripped Up (2023), Rule of Thirds (2024) and Festival of the Living Dead (2024).<\/p>\n \n\tMoore is represented by Gersh, Luber Roklin and Skrzyniarz & Mallean.<\/p>\n \tThaddeus LaGrone<\/p>\n \n\tThaddeus LaGrone plays Brad, who served two tours in an elite division of the Marines before returning home to Venice Beach to take care of his father.<\/p>\n \n\tLaGrone is a musician and former football player. He recently began acting and landed roles in the upcoming Hulu NFL drama series The Land, from Dan Fogelman, and in Teyana Taylor\u2019s directorial debut,<\/a> Mr. Irrelevant, opposite Michael Shannon and David Corenswet.<\/p>\n \n\tHe is repped by Brave Artists Management and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.<\/p>\n \tKylar Miranda<\/p>\n \n\tKylar Miranda plays Diego, an experienced lifeguard from East L.A. and the Baywatch team\u2019s handyman.<\/p>\n \n\tMiranda is known for roles in On Swift Horses (2024), Mayans M.C.
