Wild Adventures<\/p>\n<p>And somewhere along the way, he and Kurtsie found each other.<\/p>\n<p>What began as a simple connection quickly grew into a heartwarming friendship that now has them spending nearly all their time side by side.<\/p>\n<p>They lounge together, nudge each other for attention, share snacks and even groom each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe animal care team says the friendship has had a positive impact on both animals,\u201d a staff member told The Post.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Kurtsie is small enough to walk beneath Bakari\u2019s powerful legs, but, because of their close friendship, she isn\u2019t the least bit afraid the 2,500-pound animal will hurt her.
