There\u2019s at least one person who can stand up to Dan Hurley. <\/p>\n

His wife, Andrea, gave insight into what it\u2019s like being around the UConn men\u2019s basketball coach on a daily basis during a media appearance on CBS Sports Network.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got married when I was 20,\u201d Andrea Hurley said to the panel. \u201cI think there is a higher power that put us together. We are the best team. I can handle him, I humble him, I cheer him on, we\u2019re a good team. I don\u2019t know if there is anyone else in the world that could handle him, so God picked me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrea had just been in the news for backing her husband amid UConn\u2019s victory over St. John\u2019s, where she was critical of Red Storm fans<\/a> for being vocal in rooting Huskies\u2019 downfall after the Johnnies fell to Duke in the Sweet 16.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna say it,\u201d she began. \u201cWhen we went to the Elite Eight game, all those St. John\u2019s fans were rooting against UConn. And that just broke my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt\u2019s really sad, and that\u2019s crappy. That was just crappy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrea Hurley also gained more notoriety for her role in a viral moment during UConn\u2019s win in the Elite Eight, stunning Duke in a near 20-point comeback victory.<\/p>\n

She was trying to keep players<\/a> from prematurely celebrating before the game\u2019s conclusion.<\/p>\n

On one hand, a premature celebration could always backfire regardless of the situation, and two, storming the court just before the end of the game could still earn you a technical foul, so she was attempting to keep players on the bench until the moment was right. <\/p>\n

UConn will be playing Michigan in Monday night\u2019s national championship game, where a win would give the program yet another title in its storied history.<\/p>\n

It would be the Huskies\u2019 third title in four years, their fifth since 2010, and their seventh overall.<\/p>\n

A win would also give UConn sole possession of third in men\u2019s college basketball history with seven titles, one away from Kentucky in second, and would break a current tie at six with North Carolina. <\/p>\n
