Participation is voluntary, but Jackson’s presence is always welcomed, particularly in his first offseason under new Head Coach Jesse Minter and new Offensive Coordinator Declan Doyle.<\/p>\n
Jackson spent his first eight seasons under former head coach John Harbaugh, and Doyle will be a first-time offensive play-caller working with Jackson. Minter has been in communication with Jackson and assured reporters at the NFL owners meeting last week that Jackson is eager to work with the new coaching staff.<\/p>\n
“I just think that he’s excited for us to connect, for us to build a relationship, for us to trust each other, for us to be able to talk through things,” Minter said.<\/p>\n
“You don’t become the level of player that he has without a great work ethic, without being a great teammate, and without being a leader. I am just excited for him to continue to grow, evolve, and become an even better version of Lamar.”<\/p>\n
