Alison Hammond<\/a>, 51, has shut down speculation that she used Ozempic or other weight loss drugs after undergoing a dramatic health transformation. The TV presenter, who lost an impressive 11-stone over five years and has been open about her slim-down journey, set the record straight on her natural weight loss in a new candid interview.<\/p>\n

“Listen. People are going to assume anything. They weren\u2019t happy with me being big; they weren\u2019t happy with me being small,” Alison told The Telegraph. Alison had been diagnosed with pre-diabetes and was “one point away” from having diabetes, which her mother had suffered with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I literally needed to be able to walk up the stairs,” she explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nReaction to weight loss comments<\/p>\n

As for comments praising her slimmed-down figure, the star said: “It makes me laugh when I see comments like \u2018Alison is so skinny now\u2019. I\u2019m still overweight! I\u2019m a size 20! I\u2019m by far not at my ideal weight for my height. But the main thing is my diabetes is now in the optimum range.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star also noted that that she tries “not to comment on women\u2019s bodies” after finding it upsetting when people praised her mother’s appearance when she had actually been sick with cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nHealth routine<\/p>\n

Her current personal training routine is a mix of boxing, weights, circuit training and Reformer Pilates, which is a low-impact form of exercise that has become a favourite exercise amongst celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Aniston, David Beckham and Harry Styles.<\/p>\n

“I’ve just started doing Reformer Pilates and, oh my God, it’s so good. You feel absolutely incredible after it. I really need a good stretch \u2013 I’m stiff as a board \u2013 so Reformer Pilates has been brilliant for me,” she told Closer<\/a> magazine in February.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Abbey McLachlan, founder of the Pilates studio East of Eden<\/a>, explained to HELLO!<\/a> that the exercise “concentrates on strengthening the deep postural muscles, raising awareness of how one stands and the general alignment of the hips, spine and head.”<\/p>\n

Alison has shared updates from her gym workouts on social media, including a video of her hard at work boxing last month.
