Derby<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">April 7 (Reuters) &#8211; Federal Reserve Bank \u200cof New York President \u200cJohn Williams said Tuesday the \u200bMiddle East war energy shock will drive up overall inflation over the course of \u200cthis year, \u2060while reiterating monetary policy is in the \u2060right place to deal with what happens in the \u200beconomy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The war \u200bimpact \u201cwill \u200bdirectly go into \u200cheadline inflation because energy prices are an important component of that,\u201d Williams said in an interview on Bloomberg\u2019s \u200ctelevision channel. \u201cI expect \u200bheadline inflation to \u200bactually \u200bbe elevated, you \u200cknow, in the middle \u200bof \u200bthis year\u201d and come in at around 2.75% for \u200bthe \u200cyear, he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">(Reporting by \u200bMichael S.
