The crew of four cruised by the Press Site in SpaceX Teslas, waving to media.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to FLORIDA TODAY&#8217;s live coverage of the Starlink 10-30 mission!<\/p>\n<p>For those up late,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/08\/01\/what-to-know-spacex-rocket-launch-falcon-9-dragon-of-nasa-crew-11-in-florida-today\/85460634007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> SpaceX plans to launch a Falcon 9 rocket<\/a> on a Starlink mission overnight from Cape Canaveral.<\/p>\n<p>The launch is now set for no earlier than 2:37 a.m. Monday August 4 from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/07\/30\/photos-spacex-falcon-9-rocket-launch-starlink-in-cape-caanveral-florida-tuesday-night\/85411558007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral <\/a>Space Force Station. Should SpaceX need more time to make the launch, the window runs until 4:11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The mission, known as Starlink 10-30, is the next batch of SpaceX&#8217;s Starlink internet satellites. With this payload being in the group 10 of the satellite constellation, the launch will be headed northeast after liftoff.<\/p>\n<p>There will be no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/07\/31\/spacex-nasa-crew-11-launch-from-florida-ksc-scrubbed-due-to-weather\/85459260007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Space Coast sonic boom<\/a>, as the rocket&#8217;s booster will land on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship stationed out in the Atlantic Ocean just over eight minutes after liftoff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"related-link\">When is the next Florida launch? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/2025\/07\/31\/rocket-launch-spacex-schedule-august-rocket-launches-cape-canaveral-florida-kennedy-space-center\/85469265007\/\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Is there a launch today? Upcoming NASA, SpaceX, ULA rocket launch schedule at Cape Canaveral<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Update 12:53 a.m.: SpaceX has pushed the launch to 2:37 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>SpaceX launch prep underway in Brevard<\/p>\n<p>Update 12:45 a.m.:\u00a0Brevard County Emergency Management officials have activated the agency&#8217;s launch operations support team ahead of SpaceX\u2019s upcoming Falcon 9 launch.<\/p>\n<p>The launch is currently slated for 2:01 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Should weather still be an issue, SpaceX has until 4:11 a.m. to launch this morning.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">8\/3\/2025 11:12 PM | We have activated our launch operations support team in preparation for the SpaceX Falcon9 launch. Window: 12:11 AM &#8211; 4:11 AM <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vgGe4KHkUQ\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/vgGe4KHkUQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Brevard EOC (@BrevardEOC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrevardEOC\/status\/1952205881614983464?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">August 4, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Update 12:20 a.m.: Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station are under a Phase II lightning watch.<\/p>\n<p>This means all activies are paused until the weather passes.<\/p>\n<p>Launch is now scheduled for 2:01 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Update 12:18 a.m.: The only sound heard from this launch will be the Falcon 9&#8217;s familar roar. The rocket&#8217;s first-stage booster will land out on the Just Read the Instructions\u00a0drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Update 12:08 a.m.: In case you missed it, NASA&#8217;s SpaceX Crew-11 docked to the International Space Station during the early hours of Saturday. The four launched to the ISS from NASA&#8217;s Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A on the morning of Friday, August 1.<\/p>\n<p>As Crew-10 now prepares to come home, Crew-11 settle in for at least a six-month stay. Crew-11 will be onboard the ISS for a milestone anniversary in Novemeber \u2212 25 years of continuous crew rotations.<\/p>\n<p>Update 11:55 p.m.: As storms moved through the area, SpaceX pushed the launch to 1:27 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>As lightning still flashes in the skies over Brevard, storms are currently moving out of the area.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke Edwards is a Space Reporter for Florida Today.
