{"id":570566,"date":"2026-04-07T22:08:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T22:08:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/570566\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T22:08:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T22:08:13","slug":"devon-achane-did-not-attend-start-of-dolphins-offseason-workouts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/570566\/","title":{"rendered":"De&#8217;Von Achane did not attend start of Dolphins offseason workouts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dolphins opened up their offseason workout program on Tuesday and running back De\u2019Von Achane was not in attendance. <\/p>\n<p>Achane is eligible for a contract extension this offseason and Dolphins General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan said last month that the team\u2019s goal is to get something done with a player he called \u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/jon-eric-sullivan-zero-effort-to-trade-devon-achane-priority-is-to-get-new-contract-done\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a building block for us<\/a>.\u201d Achane\u2019s absence from the start of voluntary work suggests that he\u2019d like to see things wrapped up before he gets back to work and head coach Jeff Hafley declined to update where things stand on that front. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose are talks <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cMrzTzPHxSo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">for another time<\/a> between Achane, Sully and those guys,\u201d Hafley said at a press conference. \u201cI\u2019m not going to dive into those talks right now.
