Craig Melvin accidentally revealed Jenna Bush Hager has a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2 during a live Today show segment on April 8<\/p>\n

Co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker joked about the slip-up while Bush Hager appeared visibly shocked on air<\/p>\n

The highly anticipated sequel, starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, is set to hit theaters on May 1<\/p>\n

Whoops!<\/p>\n

Craig Melvin<\/a> had a major flub on the Today show on Wednesday, April 8. The co-hosts were discussing the highly anticipated sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/a>, when the co-anchor, 46, let slip that Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> was making a cameo in the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy the way, you know how that movie\u2019s going to be good?\u201d Melvin asked. \u201cYou know how I can tell? JBH is in it!\u201d<\/p>\n

The camera then cut to a shocked Bush Hager, 44, whose mouth was hanging open at Melvin\u2019s impromptu announcement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know that you were supposed to drop that bomb, but if you\u2019re\u2026\u201d Bush Hager began, shocked.<\/p>\n

Savannah Guthrie<\/a>, who returned to the show <\/a>earlier this week after an extended absence, joked, \u201cThis is live. You cannot tell Craig anything!\u201d<\/p>\n

Melvin insisted, \u201cI thought it was common knowledge?\u201d to which weatherman Al Roker<\/a> quipped, \u201cIt is now!\u201d<\/p>\n

Melvin continued to look shocked, suggesting, \u201cCut it out for the other feeds! Sorry about that JBH,\u201d and Guthrie, 54, went on to joke, \u201cWhy don\u2019t you read your journal while you\u2019re at it?\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if there was anything else he wanted to reveal, Melvin simply replied, \u201cMy bad!\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unknown what role Bush Hager will have in the film, which stars Meryl Streep<\/a> as Miranda Priestly, Anne Hathaway<\/a> as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt<\/a> as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci<\/a> as Nigel Kipling.<\/p>\n

Bush Hager memorably dressed up as former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour<\/a> opposite Guthrie\u2019s Miranda Priestly for the Today show\u2019s Halloween episode in 2025. Wintour is the known inspiration behind the character of Miranda.<\/p>\n

In fact, Streep and Wintour appeared together on the cover of Vogue\u2019s May issue<\/a> to promote the upcoming fashion film.<\/p>\n

The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters May 1.<\/p>\n
