IO Interactive later pushed the launch back to May 27, 2026, and last we heard, the new date also applied to Nintendo Switch 2. But now apparently there\u2019s been a new delay specific to that console.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ppe.pl\/news\/406745\/007-first-light-opoznione-w-jednej-wersji-informator-podaje-szczegol.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Graczdari<\/a> is behind the new <a href=\"https:\/\/insider-gaming.com\/007-first-light-nintendo-switch-2-delayed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">rumor<\/a>. A screenshot was shared showing an internal shipping system, with the game listed as \u2018delayed\u2019 for Nintendo\u2019s system.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s at least some credibility here. Graczdari previously leaked release dates for games including Starfield and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PlayStation and outed the boxed version of Oblivion Remastered.<\/p>\n<p>007 First Light could be joining Borderlands 4 as another Nintendo Switch 2 game hit with an indefinite delay. 2K and Gearbox <a href=\"https:\/\/nintendoeverything.com\/borderlands-4-delayed-indefinitely-on-nintendo-switch-2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">did this with Borderlands just days before its release<\/a>. As of now the status of that title is unclear.<\/p>\n<p>As of now there\u2019s been nothing official from IO. If the company does share an official statement, we\u2019ll let you know.<\/p>\n<p>Update:\u00a0A <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/007GameIOI\/status\/2041863487291294093\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">statement<\/a> has now been released, confirming the delay.
