Offset<\/a> has responded to Lil Tjay<\/a> following the Bronx native\u2019s explosive interview<\/a> Tuesday (April 7), during which he called the Migos rapper a \u201crat\u201d while leaving Broward County Jail in Florida.<\/p>\n

\u201cU ain\u2019t buss nun,\u201d Set taunted Tjay in the comment section of a The Shade Room Teens <\/a>post about Lil Tjay\u2019s comment.<\/p>\n

Lil Tjay \u2014 whose real name is Tione Merritt \u2014 was arrested and charged <\/a>with disorderly conduct in connection with the\u00a0shooting of Offset<\/a>\u00a0outside the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fla, on Monday evening (April 6), a representative for the Seminole Police Department previously told Billboard in a statement.<\/p>\n

The \u201cCalling My Phone\u201d rapper dissed Offset while describing the shooting <\/a>to reporters after posting his $500 bond on Tuesday afternoon (April 7).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last thing I seen was Offset looking at me like this, \u2018Yo, that n\u2014a shot me. That n\u2014a shot me.\u2019 La la la. N\u2014a is a rat. N\u2014a is a rat. I don\u2019t do no damn fighting,\u201d he said. \u201cI didn\u2019t do no damn fighting. Did I shoot Offset? That s\u2013t is crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tjay continued: \u201cI\u2019ll slap the s\u2013t out of Offset. He would never play with me like that in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Seminole Police Department rep said that \u201cthe incident began with an affray, or fight. Merritt was booked into the Broward County Jail late last night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tjay\u2019s lawyer, Dawn Florio, pushed back against reports associating Tjay with the Offset shooting, calling them \u201cfalse rumors.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting,\u201d she said in a statement shared with Billboard. \u201cAny reporting to the contrary is false. We encourage people to consult trusted news sources, and to verify the accuracy of any reporting, before reflexively sharing or repeating baseless rumors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Offset was shot<\/a> in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Monday. The Migos rapper was transported to the Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and remained hospitalized as of Tuesday. \u201cWe can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,\u201d a rep for Offset told\u00a0Billboard on Monday. \u201cHe is stable and being closely monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n
