Projects will span print, digital and audio, aiming for a wide range of audiences, from kids and families to adults.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFor many years before its 2025 merger with Skydance, Paramount and its predecessor companies had major publishing house Simon &amp; Schuster in their corporate portfolio. In 2023, Paramount Global <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2023\/10\/paramount-closes-simon-and-schuster-investment-firm-kkr-book-publishing-1235587618\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sold the publisher to private equity firm KKR<\/a> for $1.62 billion. An earlier, richer sale to rival Penguin Random House was blocked by a judge over monopoly concerns and potential harm to authors and consumers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe launch is being spearheaded by Josh Silverman, who <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/10\/paramount-marvel-disney-mattel-josh-silverman-products-experiences-1236567879\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">joined Paramount as president of global products and experiences<\/a> last year after exec stints at Disney, Marvel and Mattel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAmy Jarashow, will lead the imprint as head of global publishing, reporting to Silverman.
