Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is trading below the 25,300 mark. This, however, comes after a colossal decline of about 100 points at the beginning of the day. The Sensex is trading with a deficit of over 200 points, trading below the 83,000 mark.<\/p>\n
The shares of Genmark shot up 10%. The Zee Entertainment stocks declined by 4.04%. The Nifty Bank index is holding its end with gains in of under 0.1%, above the 57,000 mark.<\/p>\n
After the results, the shares of TCS and Tata Elxsi declined significantly.<\/p>\n
This is in addition to the Nifty IT, which is trading under pressure, with major stocks including Infosys, HCL Tech, Wipro, and Coforge all trading in red.<\/p>\n
When we look at the broader markets, the indices are trading under pressure. The small-cap and mid-cap indices are trading in red, with small-cap seeing a major sell-off.<\/p>\n
Avenue Supermarts, parent company of hypermarket chain DMart, will be reporting results today, having already shared its business momentum update earlier.<\/p>\n
