Nike, MLB and Fanatics are launching a new wave of MLB City Connect uniforms for the 2026 season, with designs shaped by the places, people and stories that continue to define each club. Drawing from deep\u2011rooted history while reflecting the present moment, each uniform offers a fresh perspective on what these teams have always stood for and where the game is headed.<\/p>\n
The collection reflects the energy and pride of each club\u2019s community, expressed through bold, expressive designs that feel personal and lived in. With Fanatics supporting the manufacturing and go\u2011to\u2011market of the collection, Nike\u2019s creative intent extends seamlessly from concept to fan, ensuring each uniform honors team history as an evolving narrative. Familiar elements are reimagined through new expressions that resonate with today\u2019s fans and the next generation.<\/p>\n
Prior to the 2026 season, eight MLB clubs partnered closely with Nike to develop the next chapter of City Connect. Through a collaborative process grounded in local insight, the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers worked to create uniforms that reflect their identity with clarity and purpose.<\/p>\n
Each team explored its values, mottos and regional influences to create a uniform rooted in emotional connection and cultural authenticity. With all eight clubs returning for a second City Connect edition, this year\u2019s uniforms build on what came before, expanding into new expressions of the city, region and fanbase. The uniforms will remain part of each club\u2019s on\u2011field rotation for multiple seasons to come. <\/p>\n
