President Donald Trump went after big-name conservative media figures Thursday over their criticism of his handling of the war in Iran<\/a>, calling some of his former allies \u201clow IQ,” \u201closers\u201d and “nut jobs.”<\/p>\n

Trump criticized Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones, who have all broken with him<\/a> over the war.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re losers, just trying to latch on to MAGA,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social <\/a>before dishing out personal insults.<\/p>\n

“They\u2019re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too!” he wrote.<\/p>\n

He said Carlson “should see a good psychiatrist,” called Owens “crazy,” described Jones as saying “some of the dumbest things\u201d and referred to Kelly as having “nastily” asked him about his past remarks<\/a> about comedian Rosie O’Donnell.<\/p>\n

Owens responded by posting a screenshot<\/a> of Trump\u2019s post on X and writing, \u201cIt may be time to put Grandpa up in a home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump\u2019s mad that he\u2019s wrong. He\u2019s mad that he got set up by Israel,” Jones said on his show.<\/p>\n

“Once a man, twice a child,\u201d he added. \u201cThis is dementia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spokespeople for Carlson and Kelly did not immediately respond to requests for comment.<\/p>\n

In the past week, Carlson, a former Fox News host, called on U.S. military aides to reject plans to kill Iranian civilians, while Owens, the former communications director of Turning Point USA, said the Trump administration was \u201csatanic\u201d and urged Congress to \u201chave the Mad King Trump removed.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Kelly, a former Fox host and NBC News anchor, said on her podcast this week that she was \u201csick of this s—,\u201d adding, “You don\u2019t just threaten to wipe out an entire civilization.\u201d On his show, Jones, the right-wing conspiracy theorist, called for Trump to be removed through the 25th Amendment.<\/p>\n

Their comments, which intensified after Trump threatened to wipe out Iranian civilization<\/a>, underscore a growing schism within Trump\u2019s base over the Iran war, particularly after he campaigned on “no new wars<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

In his post, Trump said his former supporters in conservative media like Carlson and the others are \u201cnot \u2018MAGA.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
