Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese<\/a> made a name for herself with her unrelenting talent to pursue rebounds. In her first two seasons in the WNBA<\/a>, Reese has collected 823 rebounds<\/a>, averaging 12.9 per game.<\/p>\n

Aside from the former LSU<\/a> star, there is another Reese who’s making their mark on the court. Washington Wizards<\/a> rookie Julian Reese has started to build a reputation as a ferocious force in the glass. Although he’s only played 11 games in his first NBA<\/a> season, the undrafted big man has already left a lasting impression.<\/p>\n

The Wizards lost 119-108<\/a> against the Chicago Bulls<\/a> on Thursday, suffering their eighth consecutive defeat. But Reese was one of the bright spots of the team, as he finished with 16 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks.<\/p>\n

Angel Reese Was Emotional for Her Brother\"Chicago<\/p>\n

Reese expressed her feelings for her younger brother on X.<\/p>\n

“i\u2019m so proud of my brother man!\ud83e\udd7a” the two-time All-Star said.<\/p>\n

Reese’s game against the Bulls was an impressive follow-up to his 17-point and 11-rebound game on Tuesday. This extends his streak of double-doubles in points and rebounds to three games. Before Washington’s Tuesday game against Chicago, they hosted the Brooklyn Nets<\/a>. Julian had 17 points, 16 rebounds and three steals.<\/p>\n

Julian’s NBA career has gotten off to an amazing start after he was signed by the Wizards to a two-way contract<\/a> in February. It took him three games to record the first double-double of his career, which was against the Utah Jazz<\/a>. He had 18 points and 20 rebounds, including 10 offensive boards.<\/p>\n

He has shown resilience on the glass, much like his sister. Reese also made an immediate impact on the boards during her rookie season. It took her five games to secure her first double-double, and she holds the record for most consecutive double-doubles<\/a> with 15.<\/p>\n

Reese has been supportive of her brother since he became part of the Wizards. Even before Julian made his NBA debut, the Dream star was already proud of her younger brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as I heard he was going to be on the team, I was like, \u2018I need a jersey,\u2019\u201d the 23-year-old said<\/a>. \u201cI was so emotional when I found out, I was crying so hard like I just hit the lottery. I was just so happy because my mom was able to raise me and my brother. We were able to go to Maryland and play in front of our family, but they have a good treat and I\u2019m happy for D.C.\u201d<\/p>\n

Julian made his NBA debut on March 2 against the Houston Rockets<\/a>.<\/p>\n
