When police arrived at the scene on Highland Avenue, the boyfriend refused to come out of the home. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">According to Allegheny County Police, officers forced their way into the apartment, and the man fled through a back window.
