{"id":576092,"date":"2026-04-10T15:03:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T15:03:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/576092\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T15:03:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T15:03:14","slug":"kremlin-economic-envoy-arrives-in-united-states-for-talks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/576092\/","title":{"rendered":"Kremlin Economic Envoy Arrives in United States for Talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">Kremlin envoy Kirill Dmitriev\u00a0is in the United States for talks focused on business and the economy, Russian officials said Friday.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">Dmitriev, who also serves as CEO of\u00a0Russia\u2019s Direct Investment Fund, is leading a delegation focused strictly on economic affairs, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">\u201cDmitriev is not engaged in negotiations on Ukraine,\u201d Peskov said at a daily briefing.\u00a0\u201cThis does not constitute a resumption of negotiations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">The economic envoy has emerged as a central figure in Russia\u2019s diplomatic outreach to Washington since Donald Trump returned to the White House last year.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">He has made several trips to the United States in recent months to discuss a range of issues, including sanctions relief.
