Former *NSYNC\u00a0member Joey Fatone reveals the boy band \u2014 which includes Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirkpatrick \u2014 had a conversation about reuniting, but ultimately decided against it.<\/p>\n
\u201cProbably not, flat out,\u201d he exclusively told Page Six of the group getting back together. \u201cLiterally we just said, \u2018Hey, do we see anything happening in a couple of years of *NSYNC?\u2019 And that was a no.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said that when the members of *NSYNC talked as a group, they discussed a reunion but the conversation didn\u2019t progress to discussing logistics, or \u201cactually having a performance of any kind.\u201d <\/p>\n

Their conversation was more general, he told Page Six. \u201cIt was literally the five of us going, \u2018how\u2019s everybody doing?\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The singer, who is promoting his new ID series, \u201cBoy Band Confidential,\u201d<\/a> said he doesn\u2019t believe all of the band members want to reunite for a performance.<\/p>\n He added, \u201cSo do I see anything happen in the next two to four years? Probably not. Flat out. Finally got an answer.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n First forming in 1995, the band went on indefinite hiatus in 2002. They\u2019ve reunited several times over the years, including at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, on \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d in 2018, at Coachella with Ariana Grande (sans Timberlake) in 2019, and at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.\u00a0<\/p>\n The former *NSYNC member, pictured on MTV\u2019s \u201cTRL\u201d with the band, said that not everybody \u201cwants\u201d to reunite for a performance. Getty Images for MTV<\/p>\n Timberlake, 45, has also taken hits to his reputation in recent years.\u00a0<\/p>\n In June 2024, the pop star was arrested on DWI-related charges<\/a> in Sag Harbor, NY. The \u201cSexy Back\u201d singer was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and cited for two traffic violations: failure to stop a stop sign and failure to keep right.<\/p>\n His mugshot made the rounds online, and his alleged line to cops<\/a> \u2013 \u201cThis is going to ruin the tour\u201d\u00a0 \u2013 became a viral meme.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Grammy winner went on to take a plea deal<\/a> for the arrest, lowering his DWI charge to a traffic violation, which isn\u2019t a criminal defense.<\/p>\n Timberlake (pictured in his 2024 mugshot) also had a legal battle in recent years following a DWI arrest. Sag Harbor PD<\/p>\n The singer tried, and failed, to stop bodycam footage of the incident, seen above, from being released to the public.
