\n\tAs Dewey was re-cast for the Malcolm in the Middle<\/a> revival, Erik Per Sullivan<\/a>\u2018s successor had some big ears to fill.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile discussing Malcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair, all episodes of which are now available to stream on Hulu<\/a>, Caleb Ellsworth-Clark<\/a> said he \u201cdidn\u2019t want to fuck that up\u201d for the original 2000-\u201906 sitcom\u2019s devoted fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI grew up watching the show. I know that Dewey was a fan favorite, but he was also a personal favorite,\u201d he told People<\/a>. \u201cAnd I think I was aware that maybe people might be disappointed Erik wasn\u2019t gonna come back and do the show. I guess I didn\u2019t want to f*ck that up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLast March, Ellsworth-Clark joined the cast<\/a> of the revival along returning stars Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield as his onscreen family, with Anthony Timpano, Vaughan Murrae and Keeley Karsten also joining the ensemble.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey were so warm and welcoming,\u201d Ellsworth-Clark said of his co-stars. \u201cI was really scared to show up but they all took such great care of me and made me feel like I belong. So I am really grateful to all of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Per Sullivan was offered \u201cbuckets of money<\/a>\u201d to reprise his role, Cranston recently explained that the former child actor is now \u201cstudying Dickens and is an incredible student \u2026 and he just said, \u2018No thank you.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Malcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair, Muniz reprises his once-angsty teenage character, who is now a father of his own.
