{"id":57827,"date":"2025-08-04T14:19:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-04T14:19:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/57827\/"},"modified":"2025-08-04T14:19:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-04T14:19:08","slug":"web-based-ai-usage-surge-shifts-global-internet-traffic-patterns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/57827\/","title":{"rendered":"Web-Based AI Usage Surge Shifts Global Internet Traffic Patterns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A significant increase in web traffic to AI-related websites has marked a shift in how users interact with artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic to AI tool platforms rose from 7 billion visits in February 2024 to 10.53 billion in January 2025 (a 50% increase) according to new findings from Menlo Security.<\/p>\n<p>This shift is mainly due to the continued reliance on browsers to access <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infosecurity-magazine.com\/news\/genai-cyber-risks-investment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">generative AI (GenAI) tools<\/a>.
