Fans are praising country “queen” Maren Morris<\/a> for taking a stand during her ongoing Dreamsicle World Tour.<\/p>\n

The “cut!” songstress has changed the lyrics in one of her most popular songs, “Rich,” as seen in a new video uploaded to TikTok.<\/p>\n

The track, released nearly a decade ago in 2016, goes, “Boy, I’d be rich, head to toe Prada, Benz in the driveway, yacht in the water; Vegas at the Mandarin,\u00a0high roller gambling, Me and Diddy drippin’ diamonds like Marilyn,” but, in light of the rapper’s criminal court case<\/a>, she’s altered the line to go, “Me and Dolly drippin\u2019 diamonds like Marilyn,” referencing, of course, Dolly Parton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans praised the move, with one gushing, “She\u2019s so good!!\ud83e\udd70.”<\/p>\n

“I am sooooo glad to hear this,” another wrote, while someone else replied, “She’s a queen always on the right side of history<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

“yasssss,” fans continued to celebrate.<\/p>\n

Several had anticipated a change to come, and were thrilled with her choice to honor Parton, instead.<\/p>\n

“I just got this song on shuffle the other day and wondered what she would do bc we KNOW our queen would change it!” one declared, as another admitted, “Just the other day I was like, we deserve a re-record of rich, I wonder who it will be. \ud83e\udd14.”<\/p>\n

Naturally, everyone hoped to be able to regularly listen to the updated version of the track, with one suggesting, “Petition to have the new version on streaming.”<\/p>\n
