Just like Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the Muppet version of the attraction will have a track list of several different songs performed by the Muppet band The Electric Mayhem. <\/p>\n

Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets First Song Announced
\n\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

As Disney ramps up to release the full song list on April 16, they\u2019ve teased the first song for the refurbished ride. \u201cSong 2\u201d is the first official song on the list. We are presuming this is an Electric Mayhem cover of Blur\u2019s \u201cSong 2.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cSong 2,\u201d released by Blur in 1997, is a satirical song about the nature of grunge music and has a lot of \u201cwoo-hoo\u201d and \u201cyeah, yeah\u201d lyrics. It is, unequivocally, Blur\u2019s most famous and popular song. <\/p>\n

Disney said that this song is one that guests will hear as they go through the attraction as it opens. Based on the announcement that they\u2019ll be \u201cpulling back the curtain one track at a time,\u201d we imagine a new song will be released daily until the full announcement on the 16th. <\/p>\n

Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Ride Songs<\/p>\n

Guests will hear one of several songs performed by The Electric Mayhem during their limo ride across Hollywood. The songs are expected to correspond to train cars like the previous version of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roller Coaster, not be a completely random selection like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The Electric Mayhem consists of Dr. Teeth (Bill Barretta), Animal (Eric Jacobson), Floyd Pepper (Matt Vogel), Janice (David Rudman), Zoot (Dave Goelz), and Lips (Peter Linz). They replace Aerosmith as the attraction\u2019s featured band, although Scooter, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and penguins will all appear in the ride\u2019s pre-show.<\/p>\n

\"People<\/a><\/p>\n

The story still takes place at G-Force Records, now owned by Scooter\u2019s uncle J.P. Grosse. Guests are on a V.I.P tour when they encounter the band, who are late for a concert across town. Guests board limos altered by Muppet Labs and zip past scenery with a Muppet twist.<\/p>\n

The giant guitar and upside-down car<\/a> outside are being repainted. MuppetVision 3D<\/a> props are expected to fill the queue. The show closed permanently last year to make way for Monstropolis.<\/p>\n
