Nick Romano will also executive produce for 18Hz.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBoyle will also rewrite the screenplay, based on an earlier draft by Natalie Conway and Peter Stanley-Ward. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project is described as sci-fi-inflected horror. The project is part of Hamada\u2019s discretionary fund relating to his overall Paramount deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHamada\u2019s slate at Paramount includes\u00a0Passenger,\u00a0which will be in theaters on May 22. The film stars Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Melissa Leo and was directed by Andr\u00e9 \u00d8vredal. The company\u2019s\u00a0Primate,\u00a0directed by Johannes Roberts, was released January 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBoyle\u2019s most recent film, the Japanese-language horror film\u00a0Never After Dark, premiered at SXSW to critical buzz and took home the Audience Award in the Midnighter section.
