The Golden State Warriors<\/a> finished the 2025-26 regular season with a record of 37-45. They secured the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference and will face the No. 9 Los Angeles Clippers<\/a> in the play-in tournament on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

This season brought many challenges for the Warriors. Jimmy Butler<\/a> III suffered a torn ACL in January and missed the rest of the year. Moses Moody tore his left patellar tendon in March and underwent season-ending surgery.<\/p>\n

Stephen Curry<\/a> also missed 27 consecutive games with patellofemoral pain syndrome and bone bruising in his right knee before he returned late in the season. The team used different starting lineups throughout the season and fought through the setbacks to stay in the play-in picture.<\/p>\n

Amid those injuries, Brandin Podziemski stayed durable and played in all 82 games. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting 45.5% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range. The 23-year-old guard, who recorded a career-high 30 points against the Sacramento Kings<\/a> on Friday, started many games during Curry\u2019s long absence and showed some growth in his third year with the team.<\/p>\n

After the final regular-season game, head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that the players decided to give Podziemski an ovation for his effort, as the team now prepares for their trip to Inglewood (via Nick Friedell of The Athletic).<\/p>\n

Podziemski was drafted by the Warriors in 2023 and has now played 220 career games for the team. Throughout his tenure, he has averaged 11.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists..<\/p>\n

The Warriors will still count on Podziemski as they prepare for Wednesday\u2019s play-in game against the Clippers. A win would send them to face the loser of the Phoenix Suns<\/a> versus Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> game on Friday for the No. 8 seed. A loss would end their season.<\/p>\n
