In January 2026, deputies from the Halifax County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to a motion-activated alarm call at a business in the area of Highway 561 and Main Street in Hollister.<\/p>\n
According to a press release from Maj. Anzell M. Harris, upon arrival, deputies noticed damage to the front door. Deputy C. Estes and Sgt. C. Sherrod conducted a protective sweep of the conjoined businesses and noticed broken cash registers on the floor.<\/p>\n
Approximately $544 in cash was reported stolen.<\/p>\n
After reviewing surveillance footage, Detective Sgt. I. Miller identified the suspect as Lee Quan Richardson, 28, of Hollister.<\/p>\n
Detective Sgt. Miller obtained warrants for his arrest for breaking and or entering, larceny after breaking\/entering, injury to personal property, and injury to real property.<\/p>\n
At approximately 1 a.m. on April 13, Cpl. G. Caine arrested and served the outstanding warrants on Richardson.
