Shakira<\/a> believes there\u2019s a \u201cspecial place in Hell\u201d for women who don\u2019t support each other.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Henar \u00c1lvarez for the Spanish late-night show, Al Cielo Con Ella, the Colombian superstar was asked about a big-screen segment in her ongoing Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which introduces the \u201cThe 10 Commandments of a She-Wolf\u201d to her fans.<\/p>\n

\u00c1lvarez asked Shakira about the fifth commandment, which reads, \u201cA She-Wolf doesn\u2019t attack, she defends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy question is: Are we sure about that, Shakira?\u201d \u00c1lvarez asked with a laugh near the 21-minute mark in the video linked here<\/a>. \u201cYou don\u2019t think that sometimes an attack is the best defense?\u201d<\/p>\n

Shakira answered, \u201cNo, what I emphasize a lot with these 10 She-Wolf commandments are two things: self-love, which is very important, and love for the pack. To not compete, to help and support each other mutually, especially amongst women.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer continued, \u201cLike Madeleine Albright said with the incredible phrase, \u2018There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.\u2019 I think that\u2019s what I base it on, and that\u2019s the cornerstone of where the 10 Commandments of the She-Wolves are established from.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June 2022, Shakira made global headlines after announcing her split from soccer star Gerard Piqu\u00e9 following allegations that he cheated<\/a> with current girlfriend Clara Chia Mart\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Although it wasn\u2019t mentioned in the interview with \u00c1lvarez, Shakira throws direct shade at Mart\u00ed with the commandments at her ongoing Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which kicked off last February in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

“She-Wolves will not covet their neighbors’ possessions. \u00a1Claramente!,” reads the ninth She-Wolf commandment.<\/p>\n

The word “claramente,” which means \u201cclearly” in Spanish, doubles as a pun on Clara’s name, and was also used in Shakira\u2019s scathing 2022 diss track, \u201cBZRP Music Session #53.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

After performing to a record-breaking crowd<\/a> of 400,000 in Mexico City in March, Shakira will bring the tour back to the U.S. for a second leg<\/a> with a string of arena concerts in major cities through July 25. From there, she will bring the tour to Madrid for a multi-night residency at a bespoke stadium called Estadio Shakira.<\/p>\n

On May 2, Shakira is set to perform at Copacabana Beach in Brazil, where organizers expect at least 1 million attendees, similar to the massive crowds drawn there by Madonna<\/a> in 2024 and Lady Gaga<\/a> in 2025.<\/p>\n
