But the Greek faces a tricky opener against Hungary\u2019s Fabian Marozsan. Who will progress?<\/p>\n<p>ATP Munich Day 2 Predictions<br \/>\nAlexander Bublik vs Alex Molcan<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: first meeting<\/p>\n<p>Molcan is on a very impressive run of form with eight wins from his last 10 matches. The Slovak successfully qualified for the main draw with victories over Carballes Baena and Emilio Nava. He\u2019s on the verge of re-entering the Top 150. Bublik is coming off a quarterfinal run in Monte Carlo. It was his first clay-court tournament of the season and the forehand was robust and effective in the first two rounds before Alcaraz dismantled him in the quarterfinal. That said, the Kazakhstani has quickly settled on the surface and should control this match.<br \/>Prediction: Bublik in 3<\/p>\n<p>Marin Cilic vs Daniel Altmaier<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: Cilic 1-0 Altmaier<\/p>\n<p>Cilic is a two-time runner-up in Munich, but it\u2019s been over a decade since he made the final. He hasn\u2019t played this tournament since 2013. His clay-court campaign this season began in Monte Carlo, where he lost to Auger-Aliassime in the second round. Altmaier is fond of this tournament. He\u2019s appeared in three of the last four editions, but has not progressed beyond the second round. Still, he\u2019s far more comfortable grinding on this surface. He defends well and will look to extend rallies to expose Cilic\u2019s movement.<br \/>Prediction: Altmaier in 3<\/p>\n<p>Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Fabian Marozsan<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: Tsitsipas 1-0 Marozsan<\/p>\n<p>Tsitsipas crashed out in the first round of the Monte Carlo Masters. It is his most successful big tournament and there were no signs of redemption. This is a serious slump the Greek finds himself in. He sits outside the Top 60 and he\u2019s losing ground on achieving a top 32 seeding at the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/category\/french-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">French Open<\/a>. Fabian Marozsan isn\u2019t quite in the elite bracket of clay-court players, but he\u2019s dangerous on this surface and famously beat Carlos Alcaraz.
