Kevin Federline is \u201chappy\u201d to see Britney Spears getting help on her own terms.<\/p>\n
The singer\u2019s ex-husband spoke out on Monday through his lawyer about Spears voluntarily checking into rehab<\/a> following her DUI arrest <\/a>last month.<\/p>\n \u201cKevin is aware of the reports that she has checked into rehab and that if she needs help, he is happy that she is getting help and that the decision appears to be one that she made and not one imposed upon her by others if it was,\u201d his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kaplan was not immediately available for comment to Page Six. <\/p>\n Kevin Federline spoke out about his ex-wife Britney Spears checking into rehab through his lawyer Monday. This is something she really wants to do for herself.
