\n\tOn this week\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Daily Show<\/a>,\u201d Jon Stewart<\/a> went after President Donald Trump<\/a> for trying to justify posting a since-deleted photo<\/a> depicting himself as Jesus healing the sick on Truth Social by saying he thought it was \u201cme as a doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStewart pulled up the photo for his audience and immediately zeroed in on the sick man lying in the bed before Trump. The late-night pundit joked that he and the man share an eerie resemblance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know I don\u2019t have the vigor and spunk of my MTV days, but I didn\u2019t know we were here already,\u201d Stewart quipped. \u201cI didn\u2019t realize my look had reached leper territory. From the picture, it looks like it was touch-and-go with me for a while. But thank god, in my time of need, I was surrounded by family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStewart then explained that \u201cnot everyone in the Christian community took too kindly\u201d to Trump\u2019s post. He said the backlash was so bad that Trump was \u201cforced to come up with his own incredibly plausible cover story.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show then cut to a clip of a reporter asking Trump if he posted the photo of himself as Jesus. Trump responded, \u201cIt was me. I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDo you even care about lying to us anymore? Is this over?\u201d Stewart said. \u201cHas this relationship gone stale? Your lies used to have a real spark. \u2018They\u2019re eating the cats and dogs! Venezuela stole the 2020 election!\u2019 And now the best you\u2019ve got is, \u2018Eh, no, I wasn\u2019t Jesus. I\u2019m a doctor!\u2019 You need to go back and find your happy place and fast.\u201d<\/p>\n
