coach Kelly Clarkson<\/a>. It was during that session that Ciara proved that she\u2019s not just a singer, but an artist.<\/p>\n\u201cLiv is kind of insane. She created this beautiful arrangement for this song and does it her way,\u201d Clarkson told the cameras. \u201cShe\u2019s going to stand out for sure.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s 16 years old. Her notes are so special for her. No one would get them,\u201d she added. \u201cI think her getting turned away the first time she was here really was fuel for her fire.\u201d <\/p>\n
After hearing Ciara\u2019s rendition of the song, Clarkson laughed in disbelief and began crying. The proud coach told the teen that she\u2019s \u201cso special it\u2019s stupid\u201d and compared her to greats like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. <\/p>\n
Vocally, Clarkson didn\u2019t have any critiques to offer, instead reminding Ciara to be sure to interact with the live audience in an effort to earn their vote.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to end on a high and maybe bring Kelly a win,\u201d Ciara said after her rehearsal. <\/p>\n
Liv Ciara Blows The Voice Coaches Away<\/p>\n
Ciara moved one step closer to that dream when she delivered an impeccable performance that elicited unending cheers from the crowd and brought Clarkson and her fellow coaches to their feet.<\/p>\n
John Legend dubbed the showing a \u201csuperstar performance,\u201d telling the teen that she already looks like she should be making records and playing arenas.<\/p>\n
Adam Levine took it one step further when he expressed his sadness that Ciara wasn\u2019t on his team because \u201cI think right now you would win The Voice.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for Clarkson, she informed the audience, \u201cI had absolutely zero to do with any of that. She did everything. She completely came up with all of that. Everything!\u201d <\/p>\n
The coach went on to praise Ciara as an \u201camazing\u201d singer and producer and express excitement about her future.<\/p>\n
While it\u2019s a Voice tradition for coaches to congratulate their artists backstage after an impressive showing, it\u2019s quite unusual for all three coaches to do so. That\u2019s exactly what happened when Clarkson, Legend, and Levine made their way backstage to visit Ciara.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re in awe right now,\u201d Legend told Ciara, with Levine adding that the \u201croom was floored\u201d by performance.<\/p>\n
