Following the sexual assault allegations<\/a> leveled against her by Ruby Rose<\/a>, Katy Perry<\/a> is turning to the grace of God.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, two days after Rose accused Perry of sexually assaulting her years ago at a nightclub, Perry shared an image of her 2013 song “By the Grace of God” on her Instagram story<\/a>, along with the message, “i love you.”<\/p>\n Released on her best-selling album “Prism,” the track was written after Perry’s divorce from Russell Brand and is about not being dragged down by heartbreak and picking yourself back up. Sample lyrics include, “Now I have to rise above \/ Let the universe call the bluff \/ Yeah the truth will set you free.”<\/p>\n On Threads<\/a>, Rose said Perry sexually assaulted her at a Melbourne, Australia nightclub when the 40-year-old Batwoman star was in her 20s.<\/p>\n “She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her,” Rose alleged. “It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly. When a Threads user brought up the “Swish Swish” history<\/a> and the fact that Rose never went to the authorities over the alleged Perry incident, Rose responded that she wasn’t “interested” in filing a police report “when I haven\u2019t even filed a report for the numerous rapes at the hands of grown men.”<\/p>\n “But she is more than welcome to sue me (she won\u2019t, because it happened, I have photos and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people),” Rose continued. “Plus there is so much more that happened in the years leading up to her silly song she won\u2019t want me discussing. The psychological manipulation was strong with that one.”<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Rose shared an update, revealing that she has now spoken to the police. She does not specify if Perry is involved in the “reports” that she filed.<\/p>\n “As of this afternoon, I have finalized all of my reports,” she wrote on Threads. “This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved. It\u2019s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people\u2019s experiences, but I\u2019m not. This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief. I can start the healing process now.
