From the very start of The Voice: Battle of Champions<\/a>, Alexia Jayy consistently managed to make\u00a0Kelly Clarkson<\/a>,\u00a0John Legend<\/a>,\u00a0and her Coach\u00a0Adam Levine<\/a>‘s jaws drop.<\/p>\n

Watch The Voice<\/a>\u00a0two-night finale event Monday, April 13\u00a0and Tuesday, April 14\u00a0at 9\/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock.<\/p>\n

After scoring the very first Triple Chair Turn<\/a>\u00a0of the season and landing on Team Adam to being compared to\u00a0Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill<\/a>, Jayy never held back and, once again, blew the\u00a0Season 29 Coaches<\/a> away during Finale on April 14, where she was officially revealed as the winner of The Voice: Battle of Champions<\/a>!\u00a0<\/p>\n

To audiences, Jayy was always a frontrunner of the competition, but Levine observed how she was always surprised and humble at every stage.\u00a0“One of the best things that I love so much is how humble you are,” Levine told Jayy during Finale rehearsals. “Genuinely, when you won each step of this thing, you weren’t expecting it. I really respect that about you.”<\/p>\n

Levine, along with Legend and Clarkson, were brought to tears when Jayy took the stage once again and put her spin on an Adele classic.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alexia Jayy had all of\u00a0The Voice Coaches “weeping” with her Adele cover<\/p>\n

For Jayy’s second performance of the night, she performed “One and Only” by Adele<\/a>, a romantic and hopeful ballad about overcoming your fears and taking a chance. Before she took the stage,\u00a0Jayy told Carson Daly<\/a>\u00a0that she used to sing this song all the time in the bathroom and was so excited to sing it “on a big stage.”<\/p>\n

Dressed in an angelic white gown, gold cape, and gold flowers in her hair, Jayy immediately delivered goosebumps with each lyric of the song. Before she even finished, Levine stood up from his red chair to take it all in, while Clarkson and Legend joined him in a standing ovation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“That was… crazy!” Clarkson told Levine as she applauded and became overwhelmed with emotion.\u00a0“You are so good,” she told Jayy as she wiped away her tears. “Wow, you’re like a vessel. Girl, that was so good, and you felt it …\u00a0That was like a therapeutic release my heart needed, thank you. And, look, I love Adele, she’s one of my favorite singers, but damn!”<\/p>\n

“Just promise me this \u2014 never cover my songs,” the Kellyoke master<\/a> then joked, making everyone burst out laughing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Legend also had tears in his eyes as he addressed Jayy. “You got us all weeping over here,” he said. “We’re just proud of you, honestly. You’ve just been remarkable every single time and you’ve just been a blessing to all of us.”<\/p>\n

Levine then took a deep breath before sharing his thoughts on Jayy’s Finale performance. “You make people reflect on their own life. When you tap into that, you make the world feel a little bit more together and communal,” the proud Coach said. “That\u2019s really, really, really special. I\u2019ve never experienced the feeling we all just had together. Thank you for being the messenger, you’re unbelievable.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
