The OG is keeping his red seat warm. Just as The Voice: Battle of Champions<\/a> comes to a close and another winner has been crowned<\/a>, Adam Levine<\/a>\u00a0is returning as a Coach for a milestone season of NBC’s singing competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adam Levine will be a Coach on The Voice Season 30How to Watch<\/p>\n

Watch The Voice<\/a>\u00a0two-night finale event Monday, April 13\u00a0and Tuesday, April 14\u00a0at 9\/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock.<\/p>\n

That’s right, the Maroon 5 frontman<\/a> will serve as a Coach for The Voice Season 30, premiering in fall 2026 on NBC, marking his 19th season on the show. The rest of the Coaches lineup has not yet been announced, but Levine will surely be joined by fellow music titans in the industry<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Levine first joined The Voice back in Season 1<\/a>, alongside\u00a0Blake Shelton<\/a>,\u00a0CeeLo Green<\/a>, and\u00a0Christina Aguilera<\/a>. He not only holds the title of an OG Coach, but Levine also won the very first season of The Voice with\u00a0Javier Colon<\/a>, who he reunited with for the\u00a0All-Star Showdown on The Voice Season 29<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Levine ended The Voice Season 29<\/a> with a bang, winning the whole thing with Alexia Jayy<\/a>.\u00a0“I’d say I can’t believe it, but I can. There’s no one more deserving of this honor,” Levine said right after the voting results were revealed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Levine served as a Coach on The Voice for 16 consecutive seasons before taking a five-year hiatus to spend time with his family<\/a>. He made his long-awaited return as a Coach for\u00a0Season 27 with\u00a0Kelsea Ballerini<\/a>,\u00a0John Legend<\/a>, and\u00a0Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/a>. Most recently, Levine served as a Coach on The Voice Season 29<\/a> with fellow veteran champs\u00a0Kelly Clarkson<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0John Legend<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Through his many years on The Voice, Levine told NBC Insider\u00a0the show now runs like a well-oiled machine after a “kind of crazy” start.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It used to just be kind of crazy. We were like the [Rolling] Stones or something. It was like chaos. CeeLo had a bird.\u00a0We were like a punk rock band. It was wild thinking back on it; it was so out of control,”\u00a0Levine recalled in a 2025 interview<\/a>, adding that the “general tone and the efficiency of the show” has “has gotten so pleasant.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s just gotten so different, in a good way, and efficient, and kind of mellow,” he said. “As boring as that may sound, it\u2019s actually really wonderful. And I\u2019m so proud.”<\/p>\n

In a behind-the-scenes video<\/a> for The Voice ahead of his Season 27 return, Levine\u00a0reminisced about his past tactics to get Artists to join his team. “I used to get up on my chair!” he said before adding with a laugh, “Wow, sounds exhausting. I’m so crazy. So thirsty! What is wrong with me?”<\/p>\n

While Levine didn’t stand on top of red chair throughout The Voice Season 29, he did do a somersault on stage<\/a> after scoring a country singer on his team and served up his\u00a0“explosive” history with Blake Shelton<\/a>, offering to “pester him on a daily basis” <\/a>to secure an Artist. Hey, whatever it takes!\u00a0<\/p>\n
