My Insurance Benefits is set to be fully launched this summer to all members with ETF-administered insurance.<\/p>\n
My Insurance Benefits is an online system within the My Benefits<\/a> portal on the ETF website. It provides secure, 24\/7 access to information about your selected plans for health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as health savings accounts (HSAs) for eligible members.<\/p>\n Note: Long-term insurance is not included in My Insurance Benefits.<\/p>\n Launch Dates<\/p>\n Following a phased launch plan, My Insurance Benefits was first available to the Universities of Wisconsin last year. The remaining launch dates include:<\/p>\n May 1, 2026, for state employees under the STAR systemJuly 1, 2026, for all other members, including retirees and employees of local government and non-STAR employers*<\/p>\n *UW Hospitals and Clinics, Wiscraft\/Beyond Vision, Fox River Navigation System Authority, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, and Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority<\/p>\n Online Features<\/p>\n Employees and retirees will have different features on their online accounts:<\/p>\n Employees<\/p>\n My Insurance Benefits allows state and local employees to enroll in, change, or review their current insurance information.<\/p>\n New hires and employees who wish to change their benefits due to a life event<\/a> will complete new enrollments and make those changes online.Prior to the annual open enrollment period<\/a> in fall, employees may log in to view their insurance information and familiarize themselves with the system. During the annual open enrollment period, employees will use My Insurance Benefits to make any desired changes to their health and other eligible insurance benefits for 2027.Retirees<\/p>\n Starting July 1, 2026, retirees can use My Insurance Benefits to:<\/p>\n View insurance informationUpdate contact informationCancel or reduce coverage due to qualifying life events<\/a><\/p>\n To enroll in, change plans, or increase coverage, retirees will continue to fill out and submit the Health Insurance Application\/Change for Retirees<\/a> (ET-2331) and other required forms to ETF.<\/p>\n MyWisconsin ID<\/p>\n My Insurance Benefits is one of the online systems that members can securely access through ETF’s My Benefits<\/a> portal.<\/p>\n Members need to set up their MyWisconsin ID to log in to the portal.<\/p>\n More online services from participating Wisconsin government websites will require a MyWisconsin ID in the future.<\/p>\n
