He\u2019s ranked as the No. 2 player in the state and No. 9 quarterback nationally according to<a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/kamden-lopati-46148735\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/kamden-lopati-46148735\/\"> 247Sports\u2019 Composite Rankings.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">His commitment doesn\u2019t come as a surprise, especially since Whittingham\u2019s staff is composed of both former Utah and BYU assistants. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">In the transfer portal, Michigan lured several Utah playmakers to Ann Arbor, including cornerback Smith Snowden, wide receiver JJ Buchanan and All-American defensive end John Henry Daley. <\/p>\n<p class=\"donation-text\">For over 150 years, The Salt Lake Tribune has been Utah\u2019s independent news source.
