(WWBT) &#8211; Shoppers at Short Pump Town Center spotted life-size elephant sculptures in the parking lot this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The sculptures were part of a multi-day road trip promoting the new Kalahari Resort opening in Spotsylvania in November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Families walked up to the animal sculptures, took pictures, and participated in the safari journey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe are a family-owned resort and we are a family that serves families,\u201d said Brian Shanle, general manager. \u201cWe look forward to making those memories where people can relax, not be working and take time to connect whether it\u2019s business meeting we have in our convention centers or families just coming for a little getaway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kalahari will offer family-friendly, all-inclusive experiences with a range of dining options and attractions on site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The resort will be hiring soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WWBT.
