Cavill leads the cast that also includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/russell-crowe\/\" id=\"auto-tag_russell-crowe_1\" data-tag=\"russell-crowe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Russell Crowe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/dave-bautista\/\" id=\"auto-tag_dave-bautista_1\" data-tag=\"dave-bautista\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dave Bautista<\/a>, Siobh\u00e1n Cullen, Marisa Abela, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Drew McIntyre, Max Zhang and Jeremy Irons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCavill introduced the first footage in a video segment: \u201cWe are only halfway through production but already feel we are creating something truly special.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe footage includes Cavill declaring, \u201cI am Connor MacLeod, who was born in 1518, and I am immortal.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLater, Bautista\u2019s character warns Cavill, \u201cWhen my sword changes history, you will have a front row seat, Highlander.\u201d This leads Cavill to reply, \u201cAll right, if you say so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe footage ended with a montage of various character promising, \u201cThere can be only one.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHighlander centers on Connor MacLeod (Cavill), a 16th-century Scottish warrior who learns of his immortality and is destined to fight others like himself. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStahelski (John Wick) helms the film from a script by Kerry Williamson and Mike Finch. The project is a reboot of the original 1986 fantasy movie of the same name that starred Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery and spawned the 1990s syndicated show Highlander: The Series. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCinemaCon is the annual event for exhibitors and Hollywood studios that runs this year from April 13-16.
