Lourd joins a cast that already includes <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/andrew-garfield\/\" id=\"auto-tag_andrew-garfield\" data-tag=\"andrew-garfield\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Garfield<\/a>, Yura Borisov, Monica Barbaro, Jason Schwartzman,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/cooper-koch-joins-artificial-movie-luca-guadagnino-amazon-1236454961\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cooper Koch<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/cooper-hoffman-joins-artificial-amazon-mgm-studios-1236466525\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cooper Hoffman<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/ike-barinholtz-elon-musk-artificial-movie-amazon-mgm-1236466040\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ike Barinholtz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOfficial plot details are being kept under wraps, although the film is being described as a comedic drama set in the world of artificial intelligence. While unconfirmed, sources say the film revolves around the period at OpenAI in 2023 that saw CEO Sam Altman fired and rehired in a matter of days. Details behind who Lourd will be playing are unknown at this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSimon Rich wrote the script and will produce alongside Heyday Films\u2019 David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford, as well as Jennifer Fox.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLourd most recently starred in Gia Coppola\u2019s\u00a0The Last Showgirl and\u00a0voiced a role in the animated\u00a0Smurfs\u00a0movie. On TV, Lourd guest starred on Hulu\u2019s\u00a0Mid-Century Modern, and starred in the 11th season of Ryan Murphy\u2019s American Horror Story: NYC, as well as in\u00a0AHS\u2018 Double Feature,\u00a01984,\u00a0Apocalypse and\u00a0Cult. Upcoming projects include\u00a0Adulthood, directed by Alex Winter;\u00a0The Pirate King;\u00a0Love Language; the comedy\u00a0That Friend; and crime thriller\u00a0The Deputy. Lourd also starred in two seasons of Ryan Murphy\u2019s Fox series\u00a0Scream Queens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLourd made her feature film debut in J.J.
