\u201cSurvivor 50\u201d<\/a> star Benjamin \u201cCoach\u201d Wade shut down the online narrative that he was in the \u201cMAGA alliance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s funny. I mean, people are always gonna grasp at straws,\u201d Wade exclusively told Page Six after he was voted off on Wednesday\u2019s episode.<\/p>\n

To further distance himself from Donald Trump\u2019s fanbase, Wade, 54, claimed that he voted for himself in the 2024 presidential election.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI wrote in my name in the last election. I put Coach Ben Wade and checked the box for myself,\u201d he told us. <\/p>\n

\u201cSurvivor 50\u201d star Benjamin \u201cCoach\u201d Wade told Page Six that fans are \u201cgrasping at straws\u201d by saying that he was in the \u201cMAGA alliance.\u201d Page Six<\/p>\n

Wade (seen above in his interview with Page Six) told us that he voted for himself in the 2024 presidential election instead of Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. Page Six<\/p>\n

\u201cDo I think Trump\u2019s doing a great job with our country? Hell no,\u201d Wade also said.<\/p>\n

The four-time \u201cSurvivor\u201d player reiterated that he doesn\u2019t co-sign the \u201cMAGA alliance\u201d claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, people can say what they want to,\u201d he stated. \u201cI don\u2019t pay attention to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the show, Wade was aligned with Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Jonathan Young, Chrissy Hofbeck and Joe Hunter. <\/a><\/p>\n

The members of the group, also dubbed the \u201cZoom alliance\u201d by fans and other contestants,<\/a> have been accused of plotting in an alleged phone call before Season 50<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But Wade told Page Six he thinks it\u2019s \u201csad\u201d that the pregame alliance chatter<\/a> has become \u201ca big deal.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIn a returning player season, is there going to be talk pregame? Well of course there is,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Wade (seen above on \u201cSurvivor\u201d 50\u2033) also said he thinks it\u2019s \u201csad\u201d that there\u2019s been so much discourse over pregame alliances. Robert Voets\/CBS<\/p>\n

Wade, who is pictured above with fellow \u201cSurvivor 50\u201d contestant Ozzy Lusth, confirmed that he talked to other players before they filmed the show. Robert Voets\/CBS<\/p>\n

\u201cDid I talk to people? think that there was a FaceTime between a few people. But guess what? I\u2019ve got an Android. I don\u2019t even do FaceTime!\u201d Wade insisted.<\/p>\n

The reality star also clarified that his meltdown about playing with honor and integrity on last week\u2019s episode actually had to do with the pregame alliance talk.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think t\u2019s kind of a waste of time to talk about it,\u201d he told us. \u201cI mean, when Dee said she talked to Rizo before, that reminded me of when Parvati talked to Russell before Season 20. There\u2019s shady stuff going on before, and people are going to reach out and try to feel if there\u2019s that comfort zone to other people.\u201d <\/p>\n

Wade also said that while he tried to \u201cminimize\u201d his pregame talks, he didn\u2019t want to show up to Fiji unprepared.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t want to screw yourself by going out there and not having talked to anybody,\u201d he explained. \u201cI\u2019m very aloof and very elusive. I don\u2019t do [\u2018Survivor\u2019] events, so I\u2019m not connected with people out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wade added, \u201cSo for me to feel a level of comfortability in talking to some people before the game, that\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n
