\n\tDisney has unveiled the first trailer for Toy Story 5<\/a>, the latest installment in its beloved animated franchise, starring Tim Allen<\/a> and Tom Hanks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tFootage was shown for the room only during Disney\u2019s CinemaCon<\/a> panel in Las Vegas on Thursday. It was hard to watch the toys be shoved aside by a kid entranced by her new Lilly Pad device, green and connected. Jesse goes heads over to lay down the law but can\u2019t make much headway. \u201cOur kid needs to make friends and your screen isn\u2019t helping.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am listening,\u201d Lily says, playing back the cowgirl\u2019s diatribe then in Spanish, then in rap. <\/p>\n

\n\tTom Hanks and Tim Allen, who voice Woody and Buzz, the iconic original duo, also took the stage together at CinemaCon for the first time to talk up the film. <\/p>\n

\n\tContinuing one of the most successful franchises in animation history, centered on a beloved set of sentient toys, Toy Story 5 finds Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the gang\u2019s jobs challenged when they\u2019re introduced to electronics, a new threat to playtime.<\/p>\n

\n\tAllen is of course back as Buzz Lightyear, with Hanks reprising his role as Woody.<\/p>\n

\n\tPreviously, Allen has praised the sequel, saying that \u201cit\u2019s a very, very clever story\u201d and adding, \u201cI don\u2019t really believe it\u2019s about the money. I\u2019m sure they want it to be a success, but that\u2019s not why they did it. Had they not come up with a brilliant script, they wouldn\u2019t have done it and they wouldn\u2019t have called me and Tom. It\u2019s really clever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe voice cast of this installment includes Craig Robinson as Atlas, a cheerful talking GPS hippo toy; Shelby Rabara as the excitable camera toy Snappy; Scarlett Spears as the sweet and shy 8-year-old Bonnie; Mykal-Michelle Harris as Blaze, an independent 8-year-old girl who loves animals; and Matty Matheson as the tech-fearing toy Dr. Nutcase.<\/p>\n

\n\tOthers featuring in the cast include John Ratzenberger as the wisecracking piggybank Hamm; Wallace Shawn as Rex, the anxiety-riddled tyrannosaurus rex toy; Blake Clark as the ever-loyal Slinky Dog; Jeff Bergman as the sarcastic Mr. Potato Head; Anna Vocino as the nurturing Mrs. Potato Head; Annie Potts as the adventure-loving Bo Peep; Bonnie Hunt as the wise rag-doll Dolly; Melissa Villase\u00f1or as Karen Beverly, Bonnie\u2019s homemade toy fashioned out of a plastic knife; John Hopkins as the dignified hedgehog plush toy Mr. Pricklepants; Kristen Schaal as the plastic triceratops toy Trixie; Ernie Hudson as the action figure Combat Carl; and Keanu Reeves as Canadian daredevil toy Duke Caboom.<\/p>\n
