QUEEN CREEK, AZ (AZFamily) \u2014 The Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has confirmed another measles case this year and possible exposure sites in the East Valley.<\/p>\n
Health officials say the new case\u2014the sixth reported in the county this year\u2014is not linked to any previous cases and has no known source of exposure.<\/p>\n
MCDPH says the patient is a Maricopa County resident, but it is unclear where the patient may have been exposed.<\/p>\n
Department staff is working with local and state officials to notify people who might have been exposed and to monitor for symptoms. MCDPH identified locations in Mesa and Queen Creek where people could have been exposed on specific dates and times.<\/p>\n
