\n\tWith Season 1 of Ryan Murphy\u2019s Love Story<\/a> meeting its tragic end last month, one of the true story\u2019s subjects has reacted her portrayal.<\/p>\n

\n\tJack Schlossberg<\/a> recently revealed what his mother Caroline Kennedy<\/a> thought of Grace Gummer\u2019s performance as her in Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, inspired by her late brother\u2019s romance and 1999 death. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cActually, I showed [my mom] a clip of her, and we were laughing so hard,\u201d Schlossberg said on Next Question with Katie Couric<\/a>. \u201cThe person [Gummer] was freaking out, and we\u2019re just laughing so hard, as if that\u2019s how my mom acts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Manhattan congressional candidate considers it a \u201cstupid show,\u201d adding, \u201cPeople, keep in mind, it might be entertaining, but it\u2019s fiction.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJack Schlossberg also got a kick out of his dad Edwin Schlossbergh, \u201cthe most stylish guy I\u2019ve ever met,\u201d depicted wearing a plaid suit.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe nephew of John F. Kennedy Jr. clarified he has \u201cno problem with anyone who liked the show or watched it. I\u2019m glad. My Uncle John was so cool. It\u2019s not surprising that people, once they remember who he was, want to dress like him and be like him. He was awesome. He was a smart, attractive person who cared about politics, and tried to blend politics and media in his time, like I\u2019m trying to do right now with social media and politics in our campaign right now. So, no issue with anyone who liked the show and watched it.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy issue is with\u2014we have a lot of serious problems facing our country. And my family, we\u2019re not just celebrities, we\u2019re not just icons. These are public servants,\u201d added Schlossberg. \u201cIt\u2019s easy to remember my grandfather, my grandmother, my uncle, who were very glamorous people, as just celebrities, like people today. But they were public servants. We\u2019re not royalty, we don\u2019t have a royal family in this country. They\u2019re public servants who were duly elected.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 1 of FX\u2019s Love Story focuses on JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette\u2019s love story, which started as a beautiful union for the young couple, widely regarded as American royalty, began to fray under the stress of the relentless microscope and navel-gaze of tabloid media. The pressures of their careers and rumored family discord ended with their tragic deaths when his private plane crashed into the ocean on a hazy summer night off the coast of Massachusetts.<\/p>\n
