Baseball season is roaring in its first full month in action and while my Mets are ABSOLUTE FUCKING DOGSHIT lately, that doesn\u2019t mean we can\u2019t recognize when metal shit happens in the MLB. Case and point was the fact that we reported on Padres closer Mason Miller\u2019s sick entrance routine set to Korn\u2019s 1994 classic \u201cBlind\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Well, it seems the band took note of that as well, as they recently sent a nice merch care package to the pitcher\u2019s locker at Petco Park in San Diego. In a video posted to the team\u2019s socials, you can see that Miller got quite the haul of t-shirts, shoes, a hoodie, and a whole mess of other stuff courtesy of the band.<\/p>\n

Included in the care package was a handwritten letter from Korn\u2019s manager Mark Wakefield, in which he says the band was stoked to see Miller use the song for his entrance music. They also offered to have him come out to a show sometime, which is a nice gesture.<\/p>\n

It must be nice to see Miller come out and close a game to bring the Padres a win. I wouldn\u2019t know that, as a fan of the bums out in Queens, but I remember when they had Edwin Diaz.
