(KELO) \u2014 Sioux Falls native Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda signed a <a href=\"https:\/\/valkyries.wnba.com\/news\/valkyries-sign-caroline-ducharme-bailey-maupin-and-ndjakalenga-mwenentanda-to-training-camp-contracts-20260415\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:training camp contract;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">training camp contract<\/a> with the Golden State Valkyries this week.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington standout began her college career at Texas and then transferred to Vanderbilt this last season. She averaged a career-best 7 points and 3.5 rebounds a game with Commodores as they had one of the best seasons in program history.<\/p>\n<p>Golden State is entering the franchise\u2019s second year of existence and reached the playoffs last season.
