Kostyuk looked on course for a resounding win as she took the first set without the drop of game and then went on to serve for the match in the second. However, Li responded by breaking back and then taking the match into a decider after winning the tiebreak. Kostyuk, who is the top seed at this event, regrouped to win 6-0 6-7 (4) 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>She now faces Tatjana Maria. Maria was in control of the first set at 5-2 up, only for Shymanovich to reel off four games and serve for the set herself. Maria broke back and won the set on a tiebreak.
