Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner demanded $7 million from Ray J after he allegedly breached a secret deal <\/a>over the former couple\u2019s 2007 sex tape scandal. <\/p>\n

Legal drama surrounding the tape culminated in a 2023 settlement, which reportedly included a non-disclosure agreement barring the parties from speaking out or making any false claims about it.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, the \u201cKardashians\u201d stars were said to have paid the rapper \u2014 whose real name is William Ray Norwood, Jr. \u2014 a whopping $6 million in installments, with the final million due in 2026. <\/p>\n

However, according to documents obtained by Page Six, Jenner and Kardashian blasted Ray J in a May 2025 legal letter, accusing him of violating the NDA and demanding that he return the $5 million they paid him thus far, and pay them an additional $1 million each. <\/p>\n

In a 2025 livestream, without any supporting evidence, Ray J accused the reality stars of being investigated for racketeering<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kardashian and Jenner responded by suing the rapper for defamation <\/a>in October 2025, calling his claims \u201cblatantly false,\u201d and stating in court documents that \u201cno such federal investigation exists.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ray J countersued<\/a> in November 2025. The musician denied he defamed the reality-famous duo and pointed to their own comments on \u201cThe Kardashians\u201d as alleged proof they had violated the NDA themselves.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also repeatedly accused the mother-daughter duo of orchestrating the release of the tape \u2014 a claim they blasted as \u201ca lie\u201d and \u201cabsolutely false\u201d<\/a> in declarations filed in Los Angeles last month.<\/p>\n

A resurfaced legal letter obtained by Page Six \u2014 which was issued on Oct. 3, right after the lawsuit was filed \u2014 again alleged Ray J had \u201cmaterially breached\u201d the agreement by speaking about the 2023 settlement during an October livestream, during which he allegedly \u201cdisclosed the existence, terms, and conditions\u201d of the agreement.<\/p>\n

The letter, from Kardashian and Jenner\u2019s lawyers to Ray J, demanded that the hitmaker \u201cimmediately remit\u201d the $5 million he\u2019d been paid, in addition to $1 million \u201cper breach,\u201d equalling $7 million. <\/p>\n

They also claimed that \u201call remaining payment obligations are now extinguished,\u201d referencing the 2023 settlement, which according to the docs, was signed by Jenner, Kardashian, Ray J and Ray J\u2019s mother, Sonja Norwood.<\/p>\n

Reps for Ray J, Kardashian and Jenner did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s requests for comment on Saturday. TMZ was first to report the news<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Last month, Kardashian and Jenner lost a legal bid<\/a> to keep parts of\u00a0the 2023 settlement\u00a0<\/a>with Ray J private. <\/p>\n

The duo had argued that releasing details of the settlement \u201cwould cause substantial harm\u201d to their privacy \u2014 however, Judge Steven A.
