{"id":592432,"date":"2026-04-18T21:02:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-18T21:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/592432\/"},"modified":"2026-04-18T21:02:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-18T21:02:13","slug":"royals-manager-matt-quatraro-ejected-for-arguing-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/592432\/","title":{"rendered":"Royals manager Matt Quatraro ejected for arguing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK &#8212; Kansas City manager Matt Quatraro was ejected before Royals starter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4417208\/noah-cameron\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Noah Cameron<\/a> threw a pitch in the first inning Saturday afternoon against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.co.uk\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/nyy\/new-york-yankees\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York Yankees<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4905884\/maikel-garcia\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Maikel Garcia<\/a> was stranded at second base and nearly picked off by New York&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/5132011\/will-warren\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Will Warren<\/a>, Quatraro raced out to start arguing with umpires Nestor Ceja and Chris Guccione.<\/p>\n<p>The argument did not appear heated initially, but when Quatraro turned away he was tossed.
