Trailer Drops for \u2018The Dog Stars\u2019 From 20th Century Studios\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Disney D23<\/a> and Disney\u2019s 20th Century Studios<\/a> have released the first official trailer for the upcoming Ridley Scott film, The Dog Stars. The movie is based on Peter Heller\u2019s post-apocalyptic science fiction novel of the same name.<\/p>\n

The story centers on Hig, a former civilian pilot living with his dog in the aftermath of a catastrophic flu pandemic, whose lonesome survival routine is disrupted by a mysterious radio transmission that suggests he may not be alone in this post-civilization world.<\/p>\n

The film stars Jacob Elordi in the lead role as Hig. Josh Brolin co-stars with Elordi, along with Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney, and Benedict Wong in supporting roles.<\/p>\n

The Dog Stars is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on August 28, 2026.<\/p>\n
